Land Rover is a British luxury SUV company. The history of the brand begins in 1948 – at this time, the first Land Rover SUV, created by the brothers Spencer and Maurice Wilks, appeared, which immediately received great success with buyers. So in 1970, the company presents a new development – the Range Rover I SUV, which is the reference car to this day.

In 1989, the company introduced the world to a family-friendly travel model, the Land Rover Discovery. In 2002, in the American city of Detroit, a new Range Rover was shown, which has increased ground clearance and air suspension that can change the course of shock absorbers. In 2003, the updated Freelander model was released. On April 7, 2004, a completely modernized Discovery 3 is shown in New York.

In 2008, the Land Rover brand, together with its sister company Jaguar, is acquired by the Indian concern TATA Group. In 2011, the company introduced the world to its compact Range Rover Evoque model in 3 and 5-door versions. A year later, a new generation of the flagship Range Rover hit the production line, featuring innovative technology and superb finishes. In 2017, the company brought the avant-garde Velar to Geneva.
